PURPOSE STATEMENT: To share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences. Everything that is done will be done for the Glory of God; decently, with order and structure. LOVE through Music - When we gather to sing, we desire to love God by leading people to Him through songs that lift high the name of Jesus Christ. We desire to meet with Jesus Christ and leave our gatherings changed and thinking about Him. FOLLOW through Music - We desire to know Jesus Christ more by following in His footsteps. Encouraging others within the worship ministry is huge. We believe that the best model of encouragement is Jesus Christ. SHARE through Music - We are responsible for sharing His goodness in every area of the worship ministry.
PURPOSE STATEMENT: To Reach Out to those young people who are lost and lead them to Christ. To Impart Life to those who are bruised, down, hurting, despaired, burdened, and teach them how to live a Godly life by way of example in word, conduct, charity, spirit, faith, and in purity as Paul commanded in 1 Timothy 4:12. To empower those who are spiritually hungry and thirsty for more of God in their lives that they may be filled, as promised by Jesus Christ. We understand that we are not limited to the '4 walls'. We seek to be a remnant group of young believers, called out from darkness to live a life of Godly light. We seek to be a group of on-fire young people who are a part of the church unashamed. We seek to be an effective ministry vessel of youth and youth adults who understand and receive the mandate of God upon our lives for the edification of the church. We are called to live up to the standard of Jesus Christ, as we lead and point the way, and allow His miraculous to be among us that others may witness the life changing power through relationship with Jesus Christ.
PURPOSE STATEMENT: Practically equip and activate the children of this church to become a more functional part of this church body and of the Kingdom of God. We aim to help children hear from the Lord, to be led by the Holy Spirit, to be functioning in all the Spiritual gifts God has for them and to be grounded in the Word of God! Create an atmosphere where the children can experience the Lord through foundational Bible teaching, family worship, prayer, prophecy, allowing the Holy Spirit to come and be in charge, soaking in His presence and fun! Help release the children into their gifts, callings and destinies. Jeremiah 29:11. I really like how The Message version puts this: “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out, plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” Help empower parents to pastor their own children.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Reaching women through the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ. Discipling women to follow Christ's example and live overcoming lives. Building wholeness and balance, both spiritually and mentally, through consistent prayer and study of God's Word. Providing an atmosphere for women to develop their gifts, abilities, and lasting relationships. Training women to find their places of ministry and effectively touch their world for Christ.
PURPOSE STATEMENT COUPLES: To help you grow in your marriage, we have put together a plan to help you make time for one another, learn God’s design for your marriage, learn practical skills for building your marriage on purpose, and join other couples on the journey of building a healthy marriage. Our passion is to equip couples to live out five marriage essentials: honor, relational intimacy, spiritual intimacy, partnership, and message to others.
PURPOSE STATEMENT: To bring men into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To unite men in Bible study, prayer, ministry, fellowship, and accountability. To become a supportive environment that touches the lives of the entire church family. To promote mentoring opportunities that lead to significant vital relationships. To become a magnet for service and a resource for other church ministries and missions. To provide a series of events that will promote fellowship, outreach, and evangelism.
PURPOSE: God doesn’t want you to live in isolation. Psalm 68:6 tells us, “God places the lonely in families...” The church is the family of God. That’s us! Christ the King is a family where you can know others and be known. If you’ve never been married, are divorced, are widowed or are a single parent, then this is the community for you. PURPOSE STATEMENT: We seek to meet the spiritual, physical and social needs of our senior citizen. To be involve in evangelism, discipleship, proclamation and pursuit of excellence. To providing opportunities for worship, learning, fellowship, faith-sharing, and service that help senior citizen relate to God, and continue to grow in their faith, and be actively involved in the life of the church, and sharing of abilities with others for the cause of Christ. To Encouragement, reinforcing one another, and Compassion, support of the needy. To be care givers, not just care receivers. "Now also when I am old and grey headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come."
